Much of what passes for “threat intelligence” suffers from a disconnect in terms of what organizations can action and what is offered. True cyber intelligence requires an in-depth understanding of the human communities which are driving the technology and how various components of the globalized cybercriminal ecosystem interact to produce the threats that dominate today’s headlines.

Alpha Centauri Cyber was founded by Luke Rodeheffer to provide custom solutions to the most challenging problems of cybersecurity and due diligence. He is a CISSP-certified industry veteran with a decade experience spent researching Russian-speaking cybercriminal communities on behalf of private sector, law enforcement and national security clients. His research over the years has been cited in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and a number of trade publications, and he has given talks at a variety of different industry conferences including Underground Economy and the Garner Security and Risk Summit.

Luke has a background in due diligence investigations, national security affairs, and modern history, and is proficient in Russian, Turkish and German. He holds an MA from Stanford, was a research assistant at Koç University in Istanbul, Turkey, and was a Fullbright Scholar in Ukraine.
